NADS has employed its expertise in driving simulation and hardware instrumentation to develop the NADS MiniSIM driving simulator and the NADS NED vehicle data recorder. These technologies have been designed and developed at NADS to address major issues in driving and simulation.

What is NADS MiniSIM™?

The NADS MiniSIM is a high-performance, highly configurable driving simulator created using the same technologies which support the NADS-1 and NADS-2 simulators.

The system may be configured with multiple displays, OEM sterring wheel and accelerator/brake pedals.

What is NED™?

The NED™ (NADS Event Data) Recorder is a reconfigurable vehicle data recorder that alerts a driver of unsafe driving maneuvers and records the various measures for later evaluation of driver safety and performance. The NED™ can be configured as a high-speed event-triggered data recorder to capture only events that cross a predetermined threshold or can be configured to record continuous data for an entire drive at a more modest recording rate. The design of the NED™ is a result of years of experience with recording vehicle-related data by engineers at the National Advanced Driving Simulator.
