These cues combine to create an immersive driving experience for the vehicle operator, enhancing control of the vehicle and increasing operator comfort.
The system has the following specifications:
- 3 degrees of freedom: Heave, roll, pitch
- Small, compact vertical actuators:
- Three actuators for Simplified Cab systems
- Four actuators for Quarter Cab systems
- Actuator specifications:
- Capacity: 250 lb [112 kg] each
- Stroke: 1.5 inch [38 mm]
- Power: 120 VAC, 60 Hz, 3.5 A (3 actuators) 5.0 A (4 actuators)
- Road surface types: gravel, concrete, asphalt
- Engine vibration
- Tuning menu with save/recall of motion parameters
- Emergency Stop buttons within reach of the driver and operator
- Easily added to existing systems; the cab’s height and relationship to monitors is not affected.
